1 component adhesive. Mix well with a mixer before use for 3 to 4 minutes. Ensure there is enough air incorporated.
Usable in wet and cold weather conditions. (Actual minimum temperature unknown).
Always use the thinnest possible notching when applying. It will start to foam after a few minutes, causing the adhesive to thicken. If you use thick notching, the adhesive may become so thick that it comes through the seam.
After applying the adhesive, continue to walk intensively on the seams to reduce the foaming of the adhesive.
After walking, keep checking what the adhesive is doing. When it’s raining heavily, or the base of the turf is very wet, the adhesive often foams faster and more than in less extreme weather conditions.
Using Aquafix is more challenging than using sealants or 2-component adhesives. Experience with bonding artificial grass is not a superfluous luxury.
Advice to use latex gloves during the adhesive application.
When you’re finished applying the adhesive, make sure to seal the adhesive in the can with a piece of foil or plastic. This ensures that the adhesive is even more reusable.
When reusing the can of adhesive, mix it well again.
The adhesive can be used for up to 12 months after the first use/opening of the can.
